San Ysidro Ranch Garden Party

Last month, I had the absolute pleasure of partnering with Perrier-Jouët for an unforgettable luxury brand activation at the iconic San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. As an on-site calligrapher and live event artist, I was invited to create personalized champagne bottles for each guest—a thoughtful, elevated keepsake to commemorate the day.

The event was a stunning celebration of spring—guests arrived dressed in floral garden party attire, and the weather could not have been more perfect. Set against the picturesque backdrop of San Ysidro Ranch, the afternoon was filled with sunshine, laughter, and sparkling glasses of champagne.

A tower of Perrier-Jouët bottles greeted attendees upon arrival, and a live jazz band added the perfect soundtrack to the chic garden ambiance. The Montecito crowd—stylish, sophisticated, and full of warmth—mingled amongst the blooms as they enjoyed cocktails, bites, and beautiful brand moments.

My role as a calligrapher for events was to add a personalized touch to the experience. Each guest received a hand-calligraphed champagne bottle, customized with their name or a meaningful message. Watching people light up as they received their unique gift reminded me why I love being part of these moments—it’s personalization that creates lasting memories.
